I stumbled upon this bright bedroom design by Caitlin Wilson and it was love at first sight! The crisp navy and white palette, splash of coral, and brass and rope touches make for a modern, nautical space you won’t want to leave.
To help you create this look in your own home, I’ve rounded up 8 of my favorite nautical-inspired accents under $100:

I am beyond excited (and still a little shocked) to share that our Savannah home tour is featured on The Everygirl today! TheEverygirl.com is one of my all-time favorite sources for interior design ideas, career advice, and other creative inspiration, so I was thrilled when they expressed interest in interviewing me for a feature (read: jump up and down like an idiot, butterflies in my stomach excited).
Today has been unbelievable. Since the post went live this morning I have been blown away by the amount of sweet comments and new connections I’ve made on Instagram and the like. I am in awe of the incredible kindness expressed by total strangers and can’t wait to get to know this online community better. This week I’ve been pretending that I don’t have the flu and powering through to catch up on work, so this lovely feature was just the pick-me-up I needed to kick off 2015. Thank you to my amazingly talented friend Rachel Lea for capturing our home so beautifully before we packed to move, to Caitlin Brown and Danielle Moss of The Everygirl for the opportunity to spread the word about Simply Southern Wedding Boutique, and to all of you for your continued support and encouragement as I follow my (ever-evolving) dream .
Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot! Check out the full tour and read a little more about my background here: http://theeverygirl.com/joan-trefzs-greenville-home-tour.

Craig and I have really enjoyed Greenville, SC since we moved here a couple months ago and I’m looking forward to sharing some peeks inside our new place soon. Also, I plan to do a lot more blog posting in general this year – is there anything in particular you would like to see more of? I am still fairly new to the blogging scene and am very open to suggestions : )
Thank you again to The Everygirl for featuring our Savannah home tour!
